Education

I graduated with a bachelors of science in psychology from Oklahoma State University, OSU, in May of 2017.

During my time at OSU, I worked in two research labs. I worked as the undergraduate lab manager in the Comparative Psychology and Behavioral Biology Laboratory under Dr. Charles Abramson and was a research assistant in Dr. Maureen Sullivan's Child Behavior Laboratory.

In the summer of 2016, I applied and was selected to be a fellow in the American Indians into Psychology Summer Intern program. After the program concluded, I worked in the AIIP office on OSU's campus as a student worker.

Additionally, in my time at OSU, I was an undergraduate teaching assistance for Introduction to Psychology (two semesters) and Developmental Psychology.

Personal and Family Life

Since graduating from OSU, I have remained in Stillwater, OK. Although I don't have family living in Stillwater I've got two fur babies, Gus and Lexa, who keep me company. I adopted Gus from the local shelter in June of 2014 after finishing my freshman year of college. Lexa joined the family in June of 2018.

Luckily for me, my family doesn't live too far away. I have a younger sister who is currently in school. Our parents are empty nesters, but they seem to be enjoying that (for the most part). My mom is also a seller on Teachers Pay Teachers. Her store is called Mitchell MATH Activities. Y'all should check it out.

When I'm not working or developing resources, I can often be found reading, journaling/blogging, playing board games with my friends, or watching light hearted shows on Netflix.
